What does it take to fully satisfy one’s appetite for St. John, after visiting in person? The best answer I can manage right now is this: Being there is what it’s all about. After spending ten days on the island in 2016, Beth and I were lucky enough to be able to return for a week earlier this month. As the days flew by, we retraced some of our previous steps, while also covering some new realms above and below the sea. We had every intention of returning to Waterlemon Cay, but fate held something else in store. We’ll relive the memorable 2016 excursion in more detail in episode 22 of “Rare Air.”

Here’s a memory lane wayfinder for our 2016 Saint John adventure, as it lines up here and in Rare Air.
