Rare Air Episode 49

The “Limetree Cove” footage shown first in episode 47 and in many new entries to come was captured during one of the best times of my life.

Revisiting my 4 July 2019 journal, the surreal star-lit dinner it describes is forever locked in my memories. Lost in our shared thoughts, immersed within mother nature and her coastal forces from the safety of our beach enclave, Beth mentioned that when we first got together, she didn’t see this coming.

Despite the wealth we shared in all the vital categories, when we first met in 1989, we had little money. So back then, imagining we would vacation time and again, year after year, at a beach cottage worth $2.2 million was beyond our wildest dreams.

NOTE: This beach cottage has changed hands since our last stay in 2020 and can no longer be rented. However, in 2021, Beth’s sister Ann and now brother-in-law Dave stayed there and had their wedding on the beach, so we all consider ourselves amazingly lucky to have made precious memories there. Also, we are hoping things might change in the future.

To be continued. Please stop back soon for more Rare Air.
